  • FEMA Online Training
    Emergency Management Courses at a virtual school. Certificates are provided. Course and registration are free.
    FEMA Independent Study Program: Priority Courses:
    IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System
    IS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction
    IS-200 Basic Incident Command System (IS-100 is a pre-requisite)
    IS-800 National Response Plane, An Introduction
    IS-242 Effective Communication (There is a lot more to communication than talking on the radio. There are three parts to any communication; the sender, the receiver, and the channel. We are just the channel.)
